It’s time to Showcase Your Style!

It’s contest time here at DBD and I am bursting at the seams to tell y’all about this one!
SO!
One of my FAVORITE parts of selling my designs is seeing the looks that you create!
I design for the creative little spirits.
The unique little queen bees who march dance to the beat of their own drum!

I just love seeing how each client interprets my work in their own unique way. It’s so much fun for me!

To celebrate all the dbd queen bees out there –I’ve planned a FUN contest for y’all to showcase your girl’s style *and* score a fabulous prize!

Introducing…
dbd showcase your style contest banner

Here’s the scoop –

I have created a new, never released, dbd dress! At 8:00 tonight, I will be posting a limited quantity of these dresses in the shop. They will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Each dress will be custom made and will ship out in two weeks! Once you receive your dress, you will have until Friday Sept. 27 to style & photograph a look that conveys your little queen bee’s unique style! Then, on Saturday, September 28 – the photos will be shared on the dbd FB page and the entire dbd community (plus all your friends and family!) will get the chance to vote for their favorite look!

The lucky little queen bee with the most votes will win a One of a Kind, custom, Holiday dress designed exclusively for her! If you’re a long time DBD fan, you know how FABULOUS these OOAK pieces are and how limited these custom design spots are! Trust me y’all, this is a highly coveted prize! 🙂 *PLUS* the winning stylista will be have the new dress named after her! SO fun, right? Smile

So… what do you think? Does your little lady have a FAB sense of style that you want to showcase?

Do you want your little queen bee to have a COMPLETELY ORIGINAL holiday look?
((Did I mention this prize has a $100+ value?
Or that this will be THE ONLY custom design spot available this season?
Or that your girl would be the first girl to ever have Daydream Believers’ design named after her?))
Winning that coveted spot is as easy as 1.2.3 ::
sys game plan

Ooh, there is one more thing!
To keep the contest fair – I don’t want to lead anyone or inspire anyone with my interpretation of the look;
so I am selling the dress as a *surprise* piece – that means the dress will not be revealed until the lucky
little ladies who buy one share their photos on the 27th. Fun, right?
All that I will reveal is that this dress has been designed with this contest in mind.
The possibilities for styling it are endless! The dress will be available in sizes 6/12 months – girls 10!
To make the deal even sweeter; I am listing the dress for 30% off retail price!  Yay!
Dresses hit the shop at 8pm! xx

I love a good challenge…

The latest Designer’s challenge, through Boutique Challenge Auctions, was to take a pattern from
SIGnature Creations and change it up to create an original look; this was such a FUN challenge for me!

For this Challenge, I re-styled the Delaney top pattern to create a vintage-inspired Pinafore worn over a
sleeveless a-line frock – the design modifications I made turned this sweet & simple top into a unique,
DBD style outfit!

The chic “Babs” style dress features an a-line silhouette, chic ruffle neckline and center pleat detail!
The pinafore features a ‘70s style “bubble ruffle” embellishment on the front of the bodice and down
both straps. This sweet pinnie is an easy to wear style with long straps (to tie into a nice big bow!)
and a full, twirly skirt. The pinafore is open in back to reveal the gorgeous details on the back of the dress.

All DBD pieces are handcrafted and infused with special details that are sure to make your
little queen bee stand out from the crowd! The ooak patchwork trim outlining the opening of the
pinnie, the gorgeous orange button on the back of the dress, the crisp inverted pleat on the
front of the dress… this set is truly special!

Mix and match the pinafore and frock for numerous fashionable combinations!
This gorgeous set is up for auction over at Boutique Challenge Auctions – only ONE set available,
size 6/7, ready to ship!  You can bid HERE

*Do you love this look as much as I do? Please consider hopping on over the BCA Blog and voting for my outfit!
Your vote will enter you in a drawing to win a $10 BCA gift card that can be used for future auctions – whoo hoo!

September Outfit of the Month NOW AVAILABLE

*NOW AVAILABLE* The September Outfit of the Month (OOTM)  *Yay!*

It’s that time of year! Get your little lady ready for school in Queen Bee style!
This chic set includes: 1 Edith skirt, 1 Audrey top and 1 set of ruffle pony-ties.
Daydream Believers Designs September Outfit of the Month

“Edith” is a chic skirt with a comfy, easy to wear, shirred-elastic waistband. In the spirit of the season, I’ve created this fun version of Edith, featuring a cream-on-white base topped with a handcrafted patch made from the *coolest* pencil-print fabric! Designed for easy layering – Edith looks great worn over leggings and tights!
SO many options for styling this rad, neutral-color skirt! I choose to pair it with a wardrobe staple: The Audrey Top!

”Audrey” is not your average little-kid-knit-top! Featuring a classic bateau neckline and easy to wear 3/4 sleeves: Audrey is a nod to vintage style that always looks great! I made this fresh version of Audrey from a classic white knit. This is sure to be your go-to-top!

To complete the look, you will also receive one set of handcrafted, ruffle pony-ties in mocha brown.
These ties are a favorite around our house, they look sweet and work GREAT!
